2024 Round Up

I can’t believe this year is nearly over, but here we are, once again looking back over this past year, sharing some of our favourite projects with you. We have a few still being tweaked and perfected so I might have to wait until next year to reveal them to you, but for now, this is what we have been up to in the studio…

We are currently working on Duchy Gardens‘ new website but earlier this year we created their logo and some illustration to accompany it (our feature image). The garden and maintenance company wanted a sophisticated and verdant feel to their new brand. We went bright with colours and included plenty of movement in our design. We also have been expanding one of our client’s, Cornwall Discovery Tours, website. This year we added a new blog facility to the site and a page to highlight accommodation in Cornwall.

For Trenewith Farm cottages we have helped design their social media campaigns using touches of illustration to highlight seasonal offers. Who could resist that puppy! This year has also meant helping gin company Copperpot Distilleries expand their branding. They came to us with a Moonshine label in place and asked us design further flavours. This has seen us create Navy Strength, Sloe Gin, Summer Fling and a Vodka. It can be quite fun sometimes expanding existing brands, helping our clients reach their full potential.

Another company we collaborate with is The Cornish Surfer. This year we have helped their creator design a new pattern for a leaf product range, and expand the existing Cornish Surfer brand into more homewares as well as designing useful elements like this roller banner for exhibition stands.

2024 also saw the launch of The Cornish Garden Company, we designed a new logo, stationery and a website. We picked an accent colour of lilac with touches of illustration throughout. Sid the dog was a favourite.

A client we have worked with on a number of projects for years now is Lovat Parks. They always think of creative ways to interact with their customer base, this year we helped create certificates for Little Lovat Conservationists and stickers to further promote their B Corp values, plus lots of in house stationery to help facilitate their team values like these lovely little postcards.

One of the fun projects we got to work on for them was this crisp packet recycling station to go alongside a previous recycling box design of ours for the holiday parks. This year we illustrated some familiar flavours of crisps – with a twist – to encourage young and old to recycle.

It is always a pleasure when we get to see our branding working in the real world, this year we helped clients Penrose Touring expand their presence with these flags alongside their premises. They highlight the services they offer and hopefully catch the eye of passers by.

Pencarrow House and Gardens use us for their promotion design, this year that has meant creating adverts for different publications and target audiences as well advertising up and coming events like their Teddy Bear Picnic. We also designed some posters to help visitors soak up the history of this grand Cornish house.

The final example of this year’s design I think I’ll show you is for Wadebridge Wines, another long standing client who we are always delighted to work with. We created a brand for their anniversary event ‘5 Decades of Wine’. For this celebration we designed posters, invites and a wine menu which highlighted the five decades the business had been running. Then for their November wine tasting we adapted the design, as our clients loved it so much!

Currently we are working on a few beautiful websites I can’t wait to show you, and we have some really exciting projects lined up for the New Year. We are always so grateful to our clients that come back to us year after year, and for new people who are interested in working together with us. It is such a privilege to create and design for some many wonderful business. Very existed to see what 2025 will bring!
