We designed and print-managed the official guide book, selecting a tactile paper stock to complement the putty pinks and dove greys of the brand palette.
Reflecting the Georgian period, we used a palette of soft pinks and slate greys. The site features flourishes of illustration to bring out quirky details of the building and its inhabitants, with fascinating facts scattered throughout.
Alongside public-facing materials, we produce targeted literature for the group travel market, designed to secure coach bookings and tour operators.
To engage younger visitors, we illustrated a trail map that hides letters throughout the gardens, turning a family walk into an interactive game.
To promote events like the Rock & Roll dance, we designed and illustrated the full campaign—including posters, flyers, and tickets—managing the print process to ensure a high-quality delivery.
Once picked up, the leaflet opens into a calm, navigable layout that supports decision-making rather than decoration. Information is grouped so visitors can quickly understand what’s on offer, how long to allow, and how to move around the site.
Pencarrow House and Gardens
A long-term design partnership
We have worked with Pencarrow House and Gardens since 2018, beginning with a new website and gradually taking on a wider range of design work as the relationship developed.
Based just outside Wadebridge, the house has a strong Georgian character and a long, layered history. Our role has been to reflect that sense of place across different formats, from the website through to printed guides, maps for children, and leaflets designed for visitor information racks and wider distribution.
Because we look after both the website and the printed material, there is a natural consistency to how everything feels. Colours, typography and layout decisions carry across from screen to paper, helping to keep things clear for visitors and straightforward for the client.
