Picasso’s Drawings

Carl mentioned to me last week how he loved Picasso’s drawings so I thought I would share with you some of our favourites. Beautifully simple, the Cubist reduces life to a few lines and communicates more than many of us could with all the paint in the world!

The ones I like the best are Picasso’s animals, so much personality in the minimalist of lines. From Lump the Dachsund, or other animals that were friend’s pets or rescued creatures like ‘owl’ who Picasso nursed back to health. He would study their forms and create his own representation.
