Festival Branding
Wadebridge Wines hold a number of festivals throughout the summer and asked us to create distinctive brands for each of them. For the Beer and Cider Fest, we used a two colour aesthetic with a deep inky purple and burnt amber. Then filled a craft beer glass with typography and illustration.

For the Rum and Tequila festival we wanted to communicate the visual languages of these two quite different drinks and their cultures. We combined ocean waves for the rum and Mexican and elements for the tequila, along with energetic, hand drawn type.

In 2016 Wadebridge Wines approached us to design artwork for their gin festival, so we started by illustrating what makes gin–botanicals–and created their brand in a two colour theme.

When Wadebridge Wines launched mini festivals to demonstrate that they are experts in more than just wine, they approached us to design identities for each of their themes. We stuck to a two colour palette for each of them, to tie them in with the brand we had designed for the wine merchants previously. Then we used illustration to create a parallel between the very different styles of each festival, held in Wadebridge, Cornwall.
The logo design for the events varied to reflect the ingredients and serving suggestions, taking in apples, limes and rum bottles at sea! So far, our clients have held the Gin Festival, Rum and Tequila and Beer and Cider–mouth-watering…
