Travel: The Czech Republic
1st April 2016
I recently return from a trip to the Czech Republic, some great days spent in bustling Prague and an excursion to the snow covered mountains! I have put together a little inspiration from this great place and some snaps from my time there. Enjoy! Emma.
1 The Czech mountains – a snap from my hols, roots by a frozen lake 2 Kondo Yoshie, and her charming illustrated city guide 3 Franz Kafka moving sculpture in Prague by David Cerny, very cool to watch 4 One of the many beautifully decorated Art Nouveau buildings in Prague 5 What caught my eye at the castle was the gothic cathedral and the rather imposing gargoyles 6 Seeing Mucha’s artworks in the flesh was wonderful, a favourite artist of mine 7 You can see my Design Debate blog post about Czech artist Mucha here 8 The famous Charles bridge. 9 Eating out at Cafe Louvre where the likes of Kafka and Einstein used to eat 10 The famous and tragic astronomical clock 11 Beautiful doors wherever you look.
