Triumphant Colour in Jaipur

Wow, just wow. This hotel in Jaipur, India, is a candy-striped rosey-red explosion and we just had to show it to you today. No minimalism here, Villa Palladio Jaipur is a maximalist hotel kitted out for luxury. I have travelled around India a little, I didn’t make it to Jaipur but the country definitely stole my heart with its colours, scents and people.

It is no secret that I love pattern and vibrant shades but I don’t think even I would be this bold! I do often look at my clean white walls and imagine doodling flowers all over them, especially my hall, here I fancy long elegant silver birch trees against a background of ochre.

This particular hotel has had a refurb and shines brightly in the outskirts of Jaipur. It was originally completed in the 1980s but the venues history dates back to the Mughals.
